This initial mapping, allows us to create a baseline measurement to work with during your brain training sessions. Once we have identified the strengths and limitations of your brain, we can move onto brain training.
Neurofeedback Phase 2: Brain Training
Just like any part of our bodies, our brains need practice to strengthen. During Neurofeedback sessions, we ask your brain to do certain exercises so that it can perform more efficiently. To address the limitations, we use a device to reflect the “problem areas” to you on a computer screen. The training module is reminiscent of a video game that rewards your brain for performing more effectively.
Here’s a little secret: your brain wants to be as efficient as possible, and right now is operating in the best way it knows. We can teach your brain a way to perform better than it currently does.
Neurofeedback Phase 3: Experience Results
Twenty sessions of consistent Neurofeedback training is recommended to start. During my experience, I began to feel more clear and less concerned about small things after just 2 sessions. Neurofeedback training allows your brain to access more efficient ways of operating: a way that involves less anxiety, depression, fear, and distraction. Those areas of your life that feel stuck may just need a little help to get unstuck.
